Whatsapp celebrated its official partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 by launching a new Mercedes race car emoji, which was projected onto the Empire State Building one Spring evening in Manhattan.

Special guests including Lewis Hamlton and Toto Wolff gathered on the rooftop of the Virgin hotel for an exclusive watch party for the animation.
