Whatsapp celebrated its official partnership with Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 by launching a new Mercedes race car emoji, which was projected on the Empire State Building one evening in New York City.
Special guests including Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff gathered at a rooftop in Manhattan for an exclusive watch party for the big reveal.
